Gib Reese Park is a “play at your own risk” park. The Islamorada Foundation/Gib Reese Park is not responsible for injuries that occur on the park’s property. Parents and/or Guardians are strongly encouraged to provide direct supervision, ensure their child’s safety, and assess their child’s capability with regard to play elements. There is an inherent risk to participating in pickleball, playing and climbing on playgrounds, running or other elements in the park. Please use discretion. Use each park element as intended and utilize self-control. If you have questions about a particular element, please contact us.

Gib Reese Park – Code of Conduct
Gib Reese Park is a facility open to all ages and families. Visitors are expected to respect others and the park environment. The use of offensive language, loud or excessive profanity, inappropriate clothing, damage to park property or plants, intoxication, drug use, or other disruptive behavior is NOT permitted. Merchandise sales, solicitation, surveys, or the distribution of handouts or flyers require written consent from park management. Management may remove individuals and revoke access rights if park policies are not followed.
Gib Reese Park – Rules
Park hours – daily – 7:30a to sunset.
No overnight parking (except for park dwelling resident under lease).
Bicycles must be dismounted and walked throughout all of Gib Reese Park.
No glass bottles allowed in, on or around the playground and pickleball court areas.
No smoking/vaping is permitted (traditional or e-cigarettes).
No pets are permitted (excludes proven certified service animals).
No amplified sound devices (please use personal headphones if you must have music).
No grills, grilling or open flame is permitted.
Open carry or the display of guns, knives or other weapons is strictly prohibited.
