Project Scope
Gib Reese Park is a recent land acquisition located at 81031 Overseas Highway on Upper Matecumbe Key. Through 100% philanthropy, The Islamorada Foundation is thrilled to offer a “win-win” opportunity for the community of Islamorada. With a successful campaign, the benefits will be seen in 3 ways – prevent further commercial development by preserving this site, protecting a vital parcel of Upper Matecumbe Key land for community benefit and removing a blighted (eyesore) parcel in the Upper Matecumbe Key Corridor.
